For this project we turned an old run down restaurant into a vibrant community general store (before general stores were a thing). The idea was that someone could shop for artisanal groceries, a unique gift, grab a salad and if time allowed, a glass of wine or lemonade on the terrace and voila . . . FAIT ICI (which translates to made here) was born. We wanted to keep the charm and coziness of a general store while introducing an updated modern aesthetic. We customized shelving throughout, a kitchenette, a check out area and a terrace in the back.
